A new year.
Possibilities.
A fresh start.
I love this time between January 1st and Easter.
The garden offers little bits of color.
A humble winter's bouquet. Scrubby and understated yet just as beautiful as a vibrant and buxom spring bouquet ~
Puppies!!!
Posing ~
Snarling ~
Cuddling ~
Always together. Brother and Sister.
They've got each other's backs ~
Leaving sharp and jagged keepsakes on the floor.
I step on them sometimes.
My new collection.
Puppy Teeth ~
Colder and shorter days welcome me to stay indoors.
Luxurious hours spent on nothing more than a puzzle ~
Admiring my son's hard work ~
Decorating my studio.
An angel to watch over my desk.
Painted by my friend Shell ~
Inside days.
Working on art and dreaming about the future life of my garden.
First piece of art created in 2013 ~
Art filled with flowers, puppies and curiosity.
You can find this piece and more in my Art Shop.
Colder days, shorter days. Breathing in the stillness and slowness.
Looking forward to the warmth of spring but savoring the turtle's pace of these winter days.
Until Next Time:
Kim

Good morning, Kim! Thanks for including me in the beautiful blog post!
Gosh, I need to meet those pups! How can you not smile when you look at them!
Vanessa...
Can you believe I have found so many teeth? I'm glad you have one from Miles. No Matty teeth?

Shell:
You have got to come see these puppies before they are grown boys!

Oh, I can just smell the puppy breath! This made me miss my beloved Bronte so bad....my sweet old dachshund passed away at 16 last year.
They're so fun. I love seeing them snuggled up together.
Laura:
I'm sorry about your fur baby. We lost 2 dogs and a cat in 1-1/2 years. They were all old and had lived fabulous lives, but it was so hard to lose them...especially so close together.
It took us a while to commit to getting the puppies at the shelter, but I'm soooo glad we did.
xoxo
