Clara and Lucy's Curious Visitors ~

It was a  warm summer morning...heading into the kind of day that blankets you in furnace heat and dampness. Clara and Lucy were off for a walk.

Oh they had a lovely time, each wearing their sun hats and pretty lace up boots. They strolled by the creek, picked bouquets of wild flowers and had a taste of Mr. Stepp's plump and purple Huckleberries.

Clara and Lucy were the best of friends, they were sisters. They both had dreams of great adventures and spent hours telling each other stories.

As Clara and Lucy made their way back up the dirt road that led to their little wooden house, they skipped and held hands...they were so happy to be together. But, as they arrived back home, something felt askew ~ static air and a yellowing sky...they each broke out in goosebumps and were so very curious. "We have visitors" said Clara. "Yes, but who are they?" asked Lucy.................................

Now   ~   the end of the story belongs to you ~

You can find this brand new print in my shop by clicking right HERE.

"Clara and Lucy's Curious Visitors" is an older piece, but it has never been offered in my current shop. So....I figured today was a good day to do so.  It is a simple piece but has great sentimental value to me.  And....it prints up super nice!

In Honor of the West Coast Welsh Festival of Arts...

Good Morning:

Just a quick little post before I'm off for a weekend of Welsh goodness....art, poetry, music and interesting food!  I will be attending the Welsh Mythology and Legend Art Show as well, as I am a contributing artist.

The opening ceremonies for the 2011 West Coast Eisteddfod: Welsh Festival of Arts are taking place tonight. I will be gone for the better part of the weekend, so I wanted to pop in and let you know about a little special going on in my Art Shop this weekend only...In honor of this weekend's festival, I am offering free shipping worldwide on the print version of my Welsh piece entitled: "Plentyn Newid"...(A Welsh Changeling Story).  If you're interested, click HERE .

This print is vibrant and quite dramatic "in real life", but the colors just aren't true on a silly computer monitor. This is actually one of my favorite pieces, as it has all sorts of secret meanings hidden about.

Hope you have a super great weekend!

Okay...Let's Do a Print!

Hello There:

Just a very quick update on my newest piece: "Guardian of the Bayou Princess". I've had so many emails requesting that I offer this piece in print, I've decided to go ahead and take it to print even though the original is still in the shop. Or ~ maybe I'll take the original out of the shop and keep it for myself. Either way, I've just listed the print version of "Bayou Princess" in Gerushia's Etsy Shop.

Also...because I am currently having a "Buy One Get One Free" sale on all 4" x 6" prints, this piece will be included in the BOGO because it is a 4" x 6" watercolor/ collage.

Okay....marketing done!!

I'll be back very soon with a regular post.
