Hello There ~
Can you see the change in the air?
The change from summer to autumn?
Orange is everywhere ~
In the garden ~
A morning coffee cup ~
Fresh squeezed orange juice ~
Pumpkins have already been welcomed into my backyard ~
(P.S. I grew all the tiny, solid orange pumpkins)
Pumpkins here and there.
On the dining room hutch, paired with delicious autumn apples ~

There is a glare to autumn.
An exciting time of change....
but sad, too.
I always feel a little empty during the change from summer to fall.
The oranges of the season help to lighten the mood.
Soon, it will be time for pumpkin carving ~
and a love/hate relationship with candy corn ~
Early October in Southern California.
I can see the autumn in the air...
but I can't feel it yet.
Today, it will be well over 100 degrees.
Time to stay indoors and dream of the cooler days ahead.

Good morning! It sure feels like fall here around Chicagoland! It's definitely getting cooler!
I'm all decorated for Halloween & I just bought some pumpkins. I always get a couple for carving & a couple just to leave alone.
I've already gone through a couple bags of candy corn with those yummy pumpkin ones in there too! My husband hates them. He says they taste like wax. I also love Peeps & he hates those too. That's ok, it means more for me!!! :0)

I'm still waiting for fall to hit my region. We're no longer in the 100 degree range, but still in the low 90s! This is the latest we've ever put up our Halloween decorations. Just doing it this weekend.
Candy Corn is beautiful and hideous, isn't it? By the time Halloween is over, I've had my share for another year.
Hope you're having a fantastic autumn. I bet the trees are gorgeous in your Chicagoland.
