And the Winner is....

Good Morning, and a lovely morning it is~~

As I sit at my computer, the view to my birdbath is now slightly hindered due to my ridiculously large Christmas tree...

But, just over to the side of the tree, I can see that a flock of Cedar Waxwings are hovering about...

hoping to scare away a gang of Robins.

The trees in the front yard are still burning bright crimson and lemon yellow...

But...within a day or two, the wild desert winds will have whipped away the remaining confetti...

Although the wind is dancing wildly outside, inside it is quiet except for this lovely music I'm listening to right now.

Soon, very soon, I'm off to a busy day out and about. To the grocery and to the post office. Once home, I do believe I'll finish with the rest of the Christmas decorations and be done with it for this season.

For now, I've really just popped in to announce the winner of the give-away. Using my trusty "randomizer" (which is really my daughter picking a random number), the winner is Dawn from The Feathered Nest.

Thank you all for playing along. I'll do another give-away in January.

Congrats to your lucky winner Kim! Love the picture of your gorgeous Christmas tree!! How beautiful and the birds in your garden. Oh how I miss Cedar Waxwings. I have never seen one over here, but we used to get lots of them at our farmhouse on the Georgian Bay. I never knew you lost your leaves in Cali. I thought they stayed year round! You learn something new every day!

Congrats to your winner.
I love your Waxwing photo. I too have them visit at my house. We have 5 or 6 feeders at our window that help them fill their tummies while I enjoy their beauty.
