Autumn Roses, Misty November Days And An Interview.

I admit it, I am not looking forward to winter.
I don't like the shorter days.
I don't like the early darkness setting in.
I am not a lover of the holiday season in general....

But ~
I do love the Autumn.
November roses show off their white glow ~

Perfect buttercream petals ~

Competing against the warm yellow leaves ~

Greeting visitors just at our entryway ~

An invitation to view bright Autumn chrysanthemums ~

and flaming orange pumpkins ~

These radiant yet hazy days call for a studio clean-up ~

and cozying up in my little reading nook ~

Fluffy pillows and warm light ~

Little reminders of Halloween embellish my studio hutch ~

I am happy to stay home.
Inside and outside.
And...truth be known, I rarely leave my house, other than to shop at the grocery.

But, isn't it wonderful to be connected electronically?
It opens up a whole world of goodness and opportunity, doesn't it?

I was asked to do an interview for The Palette Pages.
No need to leave my house!
So fun to answer questions about my art.
Would you like to read it?

It is isn't very long, but it gives just a peek into my history as an artist.
I would love for you to read it.
Maybe even leave a comment!  :-)

It was such fun to answer the questions.

Ohhhh....and, I am having a little shop sale through November 16th.
You can receive 30% off storewide by using coupon code AUTUMNLOVE.

You see, we have a huge leak in our foundation.
We are still trying to get caught up after our 8 month lay-off.
Now, I'm afraid we are going to have a very large plumbing bill.
The leak is under the master bathtub on one end of the house.
The water has made it's way all the way outside the dining room wall on the opposite end of the house.
It is a very bad situation.

So, every little bit helps.
Here is the link to my Etsy shop:

Maybe do a little early holiday shopping?

Is it misty and warm in your neck of the woods?
Is it cold and snowy?

I am holding on to these lovely warm Autumn days.
I am already seeing Christmas commercials on television.
I want my Thanksgiving first.
I already have my table set in anticipation!

Look Over To The Upper Right Hand Corner~

Hello There:

I won't keep you long today...I just wanted to make you aware of a new little offering on my blog.  Have a look over to the right hand side, upper corner.  Do you see where it says "Gerushia's Daily Special"?  That is a new gadget...and I'll be changing it daily.

You see...I've decided to start offering a "Daily Special" in my Art Shop.  I think it's so very important to offer affordable art in this dark and sometimes depressing economy.  Simple whimsy and color can brighten an otherwise sad day.  Receiving an affordable piece of art in the mail is something to look forward to.  Something to brighten a day even when your head is spinning from paying bills!

So...each day, I will offer a new "Daily Special", and each day that wee little gadget uptop to the right will change.  You can click on it and it will take you directly to the "Special".

Today's special is a $10.00 print of "The Haunting of La Llorona"....

I won't be posting here everyday to tell you about it, but you can always find the "Daily Special" by clicking on that little gadget in the upper right hand corner.

Sometimes the special will be a print, sometimes an original and sometimes a print set.  Who knows??

Has Anyone Seen Kim?

Good Morning to All:

Okay...it's confirmed, I am a bad blogger.  I wasn't always a bad blogger.  There was a time when I blogged 5 days a week, but somehow, I've fallen off that path.  I want to blog more...I love to blog...I feel better when I blog, but I just can't seem to find anything interesting to blog about anymore.  However, I am still trying.  I haven't forgotten my blog or my blog friends.  I've been gone so long that blogger has added all sorts of new things to make my blogging life even more complicated.  So, I shall need to re-learn how to blog!!

In the meantime...I do want to let you know I am having a huge Black Friday Sale in Gerushia's Etsy Shop.  Now thru November 28th you will receive...50% off any order with coupon code 42448.  This sale includes everything in the shop!  When checking out, all you need to do is key in coupon code 42448 and the 50% will automatically be taken off.  Isn't that fabulous?  Etsy is now offering these fantabulous "coupon codes" which makes having a sale much easier.

I hope you are able to find a few art goodies to give as gifts.  Lots of prints and a few originals are being offered.  Don't forget ~ ACEOs make fantastic stocking stuffers, and at 50% off....you can buy ALOT of ACEOs!!

I hope over the moon that I will be back sooner than soon!!
